True repentance

2 Chon. 7:14 (NIV): 'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'

God wants our relationship to be restored. He is calling me by name, 'My people'. Therefore, He gave Jesus Christ, as the perfect offering, so that my relationship can be restored. Confession and repentance from my wicked ways is the key to the restoration of my relationship with Him.

Thus, through Jesus Christ, God is meeting His people as I am humbling myself before Him and seeking His face. In seeking God's face, I ask Him to reveal His will for my life. Thus I will know His perfect plan for my life's journey. What wicked ways are still holding me back in my relationship with God? When I seek God's face all truth is revealed. I ask Him to reveal my sins and wicked ways so that I may know how to serve Him with my whole life. When I am obedient in following Jesus Christ, turning away from my wicked ways and what keeps me away from serving Him, God will hear me, forgive my sins and restore my land. Be humble, pray, seek God's face and repent my wicked ways. This is how God will restore my life, my family as well as my country.
